Week 35: Trunky Hermanas And Priesthood Power
You would think after 8 months as a missionary I would figure out how to be a good consistent email writer.
Guess not because last week I just totally forgot.
To start, we had quite a traumatic turn of events when we found out that Hermana Tejedor had to leave for health concerns to finish her mission in Panama. As soon as we found out, we went and bought an emergency Acai
She found out on Monday and then left the next day.
It really made appreciate this delicate precious time that I have served as a missionary. Because for this Hermana, a real friend of mine, after two transfers sharing an area, just left. Just like that.
Milena, our brazillian friend, got baptized by her husband! The Wendesday before her baptism we had a poweful lesson and invited her to act in faith after 5 years with the missionaries and to be baptized. Her husband, a returned missionary baptized and confirmed her. Not gonna like it made the two Hermanas in our ward Trunky
This week I had two powerful expriences with the Priesthood Power.
First, we had a dear faithful woman, in the Relief Society Presidency, music director who had to split up from her husband. We went to her house and gave her a blessing. My companion did the actual blessing but I could feel the power entering into this faithful woman's home and life.
Second, I had the chance to give a blessing of healing to Heribierto. He has suffered from sickness and health concerns and he doubted whether or not to go to the temple. We gave him a priesthood blessing to help him get to the temple and it was again powerful.
I can testify that the Lord's Priesthood Power is once again on the earth. It is the same power that divided the red seas, and lifted Lazurus from the dead. It can and will work miracles in the lives of those of faith!!
For all of you Priesthood holders... I invite you to read President Eyring's address, Be Ready.
Be ready for when the Lord calls.
