Week 13: Freakin Gansos

Just like that we jump into transfer two... not to be trunkie but a measley 15 more is a peice of cake.

--> Transfers came and went this week and everyone in my district got a new comp barring me and Elder Webb. Our district now has 4 of 8 people who all started our mission 3 months ago (bienviendos Elder Winder, Cabo!) And it looks like me and Elder Webb are just gonna keep chugging along here in good o'l Piribebuy!

--> Alright, I am gonna stop here and take a second to talk about Geese, Gooses whatever. We were walking along a pretty common little side street this week in Piribebuy when these two geese came out of nowhere anf started getting all up in our face, sticking their neck out, squawking and geese (gansos in spanish) are freakin scary!! Anyways, they freakin would not let us get by and so right as we turned back to just go around... cause there was no getting by them haha, a friend of ours we hadn't seen in over a month and had stopped teaching came out of her house and invited us in. We taught her a powerful lesson about faith because she'd been in Asunsion with her baby who was really sick and the Spirit rested on the whole conversation. All of which we would have missed had it not been for those freakin gansos! Miracles haha

--> Something that I absolutely loved this week was a talk given by David A. Bednar at the MTC that I got my hands on called "The Character of Christ" I listened to it twice two mornings this week because his message was so simple and so life changing!! To be fully converted to the Lord, is to strongly develop, striklingly display, and consistently live what he called "The Charachter of Christ" which he described as when we as natural men and woman would be tempeted to turn inwards, to like Christ did turn upwards and outwards. My invitation is simple: "put of the natural man, which is an enemy to God and has been from the fall of Adam and will be forever and ever and become a Saint (put on the Character of Christ) through the Atonement of Christ the Lord!! " (Mosiah 3:19)

Turn outwards and upwards this week. And remember thats all Christ ever did!

Love ya all,
You are in my prayers!
